Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! And Ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-seven more! It has been over two and a half years since I kicked off the blog and though I have not been as active as I would like to be, I am grateful for all the comments, input, and shared excitement you, the community, have left here on Gundariumsmith. I know 100k veiws (not even followers) does not mean much in this age of the internet, but it means a lot for those who swing by to read the articles, view the photos, and interact with me (and come back to see more)!
As a thank you to the community, I want to do a small contest and giveaway. The last time I did something like this was for 10k views almost exactly 2 years ago (exactly one month off). With the total views increased by ten-fold, should the prizes also be ten-fold? Since the previous prize was a 5 USD giftcard to Amazon, the prize pool in this contest may actually be ten-fold, but we digress. Without further delay, let me introduce to you Gundariumsmith's 100kTY Contest (and Giveaway)! Please read carefully.
Contest Guidelines
To enter this contest, post a single photo of a customized "Gunpla Accessory" to Instagram with the hashtag #100kTY and my username @gundariumsmith. Customization can range from a mere paint job to a full diorama, but the focus must be the accessory. Mobile suits are not allowed! You are allowed to use elements of Gunpla and other scale models to modify the accessory (or worked into the diorama), but if the accessory is not the focus, or it has been modified beyond recognition, then the odds of winning may be in another's favor.
One may ask, "What qualifies as a Gunpla Accessory?" In my world of made-up definitions, a Gunpla Accessory is an item that is included in a Gunpla kit that was not designed to directly interact with the main Gundam model. For example, the Draken-E that is included in the HGUC GM Sniper II serves no function to the rest of the kit (besides their role in the OVA).
For the purpose of this contest, I am expanding the definition to Core Fighters such as the ones in the HGCE REVIVE Impulse Gundam, HGBF Tryon 3, and all the Crossbone Gundam variations. If you are wondering if an item you want to enter qualifies, please send me an email, gundariumsmith@gmail.com (subject line "100kTY Contest") and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
If you do not have an Instagram account or do not want to post via Instagram, there is an alternative! Email your image to gundariumsmith@gmail.com with the subject title 100kTY Contest. In the email, you can add a caption if you are interested. Please do not use both methods of entry.
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE IN BY SATURDAY 01 OCTOBER 2016, 2359 (11:59 pm).
Entries will be reviewed and judged by co-author and brother, Morgenroete Munitions, and the one we call Meijin, sandrock465. Entries will be judged based on craftsmanship, photography, and creativity. One entry will be crowned "Employee of the Month*" and will win MG Ball Ver. Ka.
*The original contest was restricted to Mobile Workers
Giveaway Guidelines
In addition to the contest, one lucky person could win the HGUC Ball Twin Set! If you submitted an entry to the contest, you will be automatically entered into the giveaway (please do not re-enter)! However, if you do not have the time to customize/paint an accessory, I want to give you a chance at this prize too!
Simply fill out THIS FORM and you will be entered into the giveaway.
To qualify for this giveaway, you must have a reddit account that has posted on r/gunpla at least 2 weeks from this giveaway's start date, 20 August 2016. This is to prevent any foul play (I apologize if you just joined r/gunpla). Other than that, best of luck to you!

FAQs
Q: Do I have to start from scratch or can I take a photo of a previously customized model?
A: I would like everyone to work on something specifically for this contest, but I know not everyone has the time to drop all their current projects/responsibilities for a small contest like this. If you customized something previously, feel free to post/email it, just make sure you indicate that it was previously customized.
Q: Can I use ___________ for the contest?
A: Please send an email to gundariumsmith@gmail.com with "100kTY Contest" in the subject line regarding qualifying entries.
Q: If I have a private Instagram account, will you be able to see the image?
A: I did a little research on this and did a few experiments. Apparently I will not be able to see your post if you have a private account. If you choose to keep your account private, either make sure we are following each other on Instagram, or just email me the entry image.
