Dashboard, what does Blogger say about our view count?
What?! Over Nine Thousand? There's no way that can be right!
In reality, the actual viewership on this blog does not mean anything: without posting on /r/Gunpla, the viewership of my blog ends up being 1-3 views per post. This means the blog is not currently being viewed by a core audience. There is nothing wrong with that, in fact I am quite satisfied with this result. My original intention of starting this blog (starting with Wordpress) was to be able to write about the kits I was building, practice my photography, organize a log of past kits in an easy to access format, and share with the /r/Gunpla community. With those goals in mind, I have been able to achieve this through my blog, and I have been also able to share this space with my brother!
Because my viewership is based on the /r/Gunpla community, I wanted this to be a celebration of the community, not my viewership - that is just an excuse. I cannot thank the community enough for being supportive to new hobbyists sharing your tips and tricks, being able to come together to help fellow hobbyists in need, and having a heart to give back to the community. Looking at other subreddits (specifically based on toys/hobbies), I have not found a subreddit (I'm interested in) that even comes close to the generosity and kindness shown in this /r/Gunpla. For that I will say it again, Thank you!
With all the thank yous over with, it is time to actually celebrate with a giveaway!

I was hoping to do a full contest in this celebration with more significant prizes that could include everyone on the subreddit, but the fact is I currently do not have the time or money to host something like that. This will have to do for now.
